Our story
A place apart
Tucked among the trees, where time slows and every cup tells a story.
How it all began
Tiny Tea House in the Trees grew from a simple love of hospitality, tiny houses, and, of course, baking. Nothing combines sweet and savory treats better than Afternoon Tea.
What started as a dream — a quiet table set among the treetops, the sound of birdsong overhead, the warmth of a proper pot of tea — became something real, tucked into a corner of the woods that feels like it was always meant to be here.
We opened our doors wanting to offer something unhurried — a genuine afternoon tea experience where the setting does as much work as the food. The pavilion, the trees, the river view: these aren't backdrops. They're the whole point.
Every item on our menu is made with care, served family style, and designed to be shared slowly. We keep our seatings small so every guest feels genuinely welcomed — not just seated.
The setting
Among the trees
Our tea house overlooks the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge with a covered pavilion that opens onto a river view. Whether you visit on a bright spring morning or a golden autumn afternoon, the canopy above and the water below make every sitting feel like a small escape.
The pavilion seats groups of up to fourteen. For smaller parties of 5 or fewer, a choice of indoor or outdoor seating is available.
What we believe in
Unhurried hospitality
There is no rush here. Seatings are kept small and the pace is gentle — because a proper afternoon tea deserves time.
Made with care
Everything on the menu is baked and prepared in-house. We use quality ingredients and take pride in every tier of the stand.
The whole experience
The food, the setting, the company — afternoon tea is as much about the moment as the menu. We try to make every detail count.
